Youth Sports

The Sarasota Family YMCA encourages sportsmanship, self-improvement and team building through its youth sports teams and activities. Children ages five and up can participate in traditional team sports like soccer and basketball or try activities like climbing, karate, swimming or gymnastics. Toddlers can also get an early start on hand-eye coordination through a variety of toddler and Pre-K programs. For those children who are home schooled, we also offer a variety of sports for them to enjoy with other children while still getting crucial physical activity.
